Our best bake sale yet, all in aid of Cancer Research UK. Despite the rain, Friday’s DriveWorks Charity Bake Sale was even bigger and better than last year. The bake sale was brilliant with lots of our neighbouring companies from our Laskey Farm site supporting the afternoon, along with staff and residents from local care home, Cheshire Grange. Howard and Wendy Platt took visitors on a tour of their beautiful gardens that have featured in Garden News. Tom DiLaura, from the DriveWorks team at CADimensions, recently caught up with their SOLIDWORKS customer, Riverhawk Company to see what they’ve been up to and find out how they have made the most of the free design automation tool, DriveWorksXpress. Riverhawk Company’s engineers use SOLIDWORKS and have successfully implemented and been working with DriveWorksXpress for the past three years. To raise money for Cancer Research UK. You might remember our charity Bake Sale last year that even had our CEO, Glen, rolling up his sleeves and putting his baking skills to the test. The charity bake sale was in aid of Cancer Research UK, it was a really successful day and it was fantastic to see how generous and supportive everyone was, donating cakes and prizes, buying raffle tickets and of course, enjoying lots of cake! DriveWorks Senior Developer, Sarah, took part in Pretty Muddy this weekend to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Pretty Muddy is a 5k muddy obstacle course where women run, climb, stomp and jog to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Sarah took part in the event at the racecourse in her home town of York.
