An Impressive New HVAC Sample Project

Have you tried our new Sample Project?

This month we’re focusing on the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Industry. Our Tech Team have created another impressive project to demonstrate the many uses of DriveWorks within this complex industry.

This project is a fantastic example of the potential of DriveWorks to automate complex SOLIDWORKS Assemblies. There are over 8000 Rules, over 5000 Model Rules and nearly 100 Documents within this project. Try it for yourself by visiting:

How I Built the HVAC Project Part 2

This 2 part webinar takes a look at how our Senior Applications Engineer, Dave, built our Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Sample Project, as part of our Industry Spotlight Demonstrations.

In the first part, Dave discussed the processes he followed when setting up the SOLIDWORKS models for his Air Handling Unit project.

This webinar, part 2, continues with the set-up of the HVAC project and looks at how Dave created a DriveWorks project to automate the SOLIDWORKS models that he created in part 1.

To show you how he created the DriveWorks project, Dave will cover:
– Creating the Specification Flow
– Creating Rules for the Model Generation
– Setting up the relevant documents and their Release Tasks
– Discussing the Project Output.

This webinar can be a source of inspiration on how to further automate your own products or perhaps help you solve a problem that you’ve been unable to overcome. Having in-depth knowledge of how a project has been created may also help you when trying to diagnose project issues.

Whilst creating this project Dave also learnt more about the many uses of DriveWorks and he will be sharing this knowledge with you throughout the webinar.

You can catch up on part one by visiting the DriveWorks Community Technical Webinar Library.

The webinar will take place at 4pm GMT on Thursday, December 17th.
