DriveWorks HQ has been a tense place since the start of the World Cup in June. We’ve all unleashed our competitive sides and competed in a World Cup sweepstake. This morning there was a somewhat awkward atmosphere between Graphic Designer, Stefan (Team Argentina) and Vice President, Maria (Team Germany). There were accusations of cheating, bribery and fixing considering CEO, Glen had Brazil and Vice President, Maria had Germany! However, harmony has now been restored – Maria has stopped celebrating and Stefan has stopped crying. Maria has generously promised to donate her winnings to St Rocco’s Hospice in Warrington. We were pleased to welcome SolidWorks Partner Team, Technical Marketing Specialist, Shyam Venugopal to The Barley Store recently. In addition to meeting our entire team during his visit, Maria took Shyam to visit DriveWorks Reseller CADTEK in Furness Vale and also DriveWorks Customer, furniture specialists, Neville Johnson so he could see how they are automating their designs with DriveWorks and SolidWorks.
