The SWUGN Partner of The Year Award

Throughout the year, we spend a lot of time with members of the SWUG network and at SWUG meetings. 3DEXPERIENCE World is always a chance for all of the community to come together.

Although this year has been very different, we have still had the chance to connect with the SWUG Community through many online meetings and during virtual 3DEXPERIENCE World 2021.

At virtual 3DEXPERIENCE World 2021, DriveWorks were presented with the SWUGN Partner of The Year Award.

We are so honoured and proud to receive this award again, thank you SWUGN!

With the support of our resellers, customers and partners, we have attended SWUG meetings, sponsored meetings and helped group leaders to find presenters with interesting presentations since 2015.

We love being a part of the SOLIDWORKS Community, SOLIDWORKS User Groups are awesome.

We can’t wait to be a part of lots of great SWUG meetings again this year whether they be virtual or in person!

During the meeting, David Antanavige was awarded the Wayne Tiffany – User Group Leader of the Year award, Pittsburgh SWUG won User Group of the Year, Joe Lance received the Michelle Pillers – Community Award, CATI was awarded Reseller of the Year and Alin Vargatu received Reseller AE of the Year – congratulations everyone!

At 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020, we were proud to see DriveWorks Brand and Community Ambassador, Heather Hasz awarded with the SWUGN Community Champion Award.

This award celebrates a member of the SOLIDWORKS community who best demonstrates extraordinary commitment to others in the community, either across the year or a lifetime.

This award is not limited to a user group leader. It recognizes someone that brings the community together in unexpected ways and is a long-term advocate of the entire SOLIDWORKS community, including the SOLIDWORKS User Group Network.

At SOLIDWORKS World 2019 in Dallas, we were awarded SWUGN Partner of The Year Award and in 2018, we proudly won  Co-Participating Partner of the Year, alongside Rapid.

DriveWorks SWUGN Leader of the Year

At 3DEXPERIENCE World 2021, we announced the 6th annual DriveWorks award for the SOLIDWORKS Group Leader of the Year – Eric Beatty.

The DriveWorks SWUGN Leader of the Year award is awarded to someone who stands out in the SOLIDWORKS Community for all the work they do.

While all SOLIDWORKS User Group Leaders go above and beyond in their support of the SOLIDWORKS Community. There are, however, those that stand out above the crowd.

We have celebrated these individuals by awarding them with our DriveWorks Award for SWUGN Leader of the Year. Previous winners of this award have been:

• Jeff Holliday, Mid Atlantic Regional Independent SOLIDWORKS Group
• James Adkins, Burlington-Alamance County SWUG

Eric is the leader of the Seattle Area SOLIDWORKS Power Users Group. He is the Senior Mechanical Designer at OMAX Corporation and in his “spare” time he is a CAD/CAM Instructor at Renton Technical College.

His strong passion for SOLIDWORKS creates a positive energy that is passed on to others within the community.

Eric joins a group of great user group leaders that have won the DriveWorks Award for SWUGN Leader of the Year – congratulations Eric!
