The challenge
Trifibre, based in the UK, are a leading manufacturer of custom protective cases and packaging solutions. They supply leading brands from a variety of industries, including entertainment, defense, motorsport, and automotive.

The solution
Trifibre use DriveWorks as their CPQ solution. Their customers submit their flight case requirements using a web form. A customer service team member then uses an internal DriveWorks configurator to input the requirements of the requested flight case. DriveWorks automatically generates SOLIDWORKS parts, assemblies, and drawings, and saves out additional file formats, including PDFs. Pricing information is automatically calculated using DriveWorks rules-based technology, and quotation and approval documentation are automatically generated.
Their configurator is integrated with their ERP system and, using a customized workflow, their configurator converts quotation data into an order and pushes accurate BOMs to the shop floor.
