Round Up of DriveWorks World 2022

What Happened at DriveWorks World 2022

This year we were joined by over 700 DriveWorks customers, resellers and partners from around the world to talk and learn about all things DriveWorks.

DriveWorks World is an opportunity for us to get together with, and bring together, our customers, resellers and partners for learning, networking and sharing ideas.

After the success of last year’s event, once again DriveWorks World was held as an all-virtual event.

We delivered 2 full days of technical learning, networking and sharing ideas – all virtually. Here’s what we got up to during the event.

The Return of DriveWorks World TV

Back by popular after last year’s event was DriveWorks World TV.

This year, the entire DriveWorks World event was hosted on DriveWorks World TV, keeping all of the DriveWorks World action in once place. DriveWorks World TV was broadcast live from DriveWorks HQ, from 10am-10pm (BST).

The 2 days were packed with technical learning sessions, customer presentations, keynote sessions, and plenty of learning and knowledge sharing sessions.

Plus we of course revealed What’s New in DriveWorks 20 and chatted through more ideas for the future of DriveWorks software.

At the end of each day we also hosted some fun DriveWorks themed quizzes.

Technical Presentations Hosted by DriveWorks Experts

DriveWorks subject matter experts, delivered technical presentations, sharing knowledge to help DriveWorks users learn more and get the most from the software.

The technical presentations covered a variety of topics, including Automating SOLIDWORKS, Implementation, DriveApps, Business Process Automation, Rules, Deployment, Workflow, Integration, Documents, UI & UX, 3D and many more.

Each topic started with a Technical Overview, followed by a Q&A with a technical expert, before we delved into the detailed with presentations and knowledge sharing sessions. This format gave users the opportunity to build up their DriveWorks knowledge for each topic and provided learning opportunities for all DriveWorks skill levels, whether they were brand new to DriveWorks, or an experienced user.

The presentations were delivered live on DriveWorks World TV with the opportunity to ask questions and talk with our Technical Experts and other DriveWorks users in the chat channels.

There was so much chat around the topics during the event so we’ll be continuing these conversations during upcoming DriveWorks Drivers meetings and Let’s Chat About discussion sessions.

What’s New in DriveWorks 20

Of course, it wouldn’t be a DriveWorks World without DriveWorks CEO, Glen Smith announcing What’s New in the latest release of DriveWorks.

Broadcast live on DriveWorks World TV, Glen shared all the exciting new additions and functionality added to DriveWorks 20.

It was great to see so many people getting involved in the chat and sharing what features they were most excited about. DriveWorks software developers were also in the chat, sharing their insights into particular features they had developed, and getting lots of well deserved recognition from our customers, resellers and partners.

The What’s New sessions will be available soon in the DriveWorks Learning Portal.

Customer Presentations

Sharing ideas, knowledge and experiences are always a key part of DriveWorks World. These conversations help us learn how our customers are using the software, and provide an opportunity for our customers to learn from and inspire each other.

They enable us to make sure we’re providing the software, functionality and resources our customers need, and our customers also take away ideas and inspiration for their own DriveWorks implementations.

Throughout the 2 days, we heard from a variety of companies who are using DriveWorks. We had customers taking to the stage to share with us the many different ways they use DriveWorks. It was great to welcome back previous presenters and see how they have progressed too.

It’s always fascinating to see how everyone uses DriveWorks differently. There were presentations from all kinds of industries including Interior Packaging, Bridge Manufacturing, Plastics Manufacturing, CNC Cutting Machines, Truck Bodies and many more.

Using DriveWorks software is changing the way our customers do business and hearing these success stories is one of the most rewarding parts of DriveWorks World.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for DriveWorks World 2022!During the event the chat channels had 1,083 replies, 112 mentions, and 972 reactions.Let’s continue these great conversations, join us over in the DriveWorks Forums and don’t miss DriveWorks Drivers on June 16th, and our next series of Let’s Chat About sessions.
