DriveWorks 23 is now available to download. This new release brings new features and functionality in the following areas:
DriveWorks Administrator, Design Automation & SOLIDWORKS PDM, enhanced DWLambda functionality, DriveApps, DriveWorks Live, DriveWorks 3D, and DriveWorks Pro Server.
New features and enhancements in DriveWorks 23
To deliver effective technology solutions, we actively listen to the DriveWorks community of users, including customers, resellers, and authorized partners, continually gathering feedback from enhancement requests and other community forums. Continually developing our technology drives us forward and ensures we deliver solutions for current engineering and manufacturing challenges.

DriveWorks Administrator
New form design functionality enabling you to create enhanced user experiences.
Design automation and SOLIDWORKS PDM Pro
Improved file search functionality, updates to SOLIDWORKS PDM Specification Macro Tasks, and 11 new Generation Tasks.
DriveWorks Pro Server
Updates to DriveWorks Pro Server configurator tool to split out DriveWorks Pro Server Management Console and DriveWorks Pro Server Dashboard, providing enhanced connectivity.
DriveApps
New interactive breadcrumbs, tile designer functionality for the CPQ DriveApp, and additional order permissions.
DriveWorks Live
Easier setup and configuration, plus website translation functionality.
DriveWorks 3D
New functionality, including 3D document undo & redo, and advanced PBR features.

Download DriveWorks 23 now from the DriveWorks Community
DriveWorks Resellers, Partners, and Customers with an Active Subscription can download DriveWorks 23 from the DriveWorks Community now.
Here’s what you’ll need to download the latest release:
A MyDriveWorks Community Account
You can create an account if you don’t have one or reset your password if you’ve forgotten it.

Your DriveWorks 23 license codes – new easy access
Your DriveWorks 23 license codes are available in the Manage your organization portal in MyDriveWorks.
DriveWorks Pro customers with DriveWorks Live licenses on active subscription will notice a new license in your portal – DriveWorks Live Insights.
DriveWorks Live Insights enables you to view any missed sessions on your configurator, so you can understand fluctuations in demand and make adjustments to ensure your sales teams and customers can use your configurator at any time. Customers with DriveWorks Live OnDemand don’t need to use this new license – DriveWorks Live Insights functionality is built in with your OnDemand license.
Downloading, installing, and licensing each of the DriveWorks Pro software modules is part of our own internal testing process. As you would expect from an established software company like DriveWorks, we employ a robust testing strategy, with a focus on the security and usability of our users.
Measures such as our verified publisher code signing certificate are designed to give you peace of mind and assurance that the DriveWorks software you are downloading is secure and safe.
Important Information
- We have tested the updates rigorously across Windows Operating Systems and the latest versions of SOLIDWORKS to test compatibility. SOLIDWORKS 2023 is fully supported, along with SOLIDWORKS 2021 and 2022.
- As with any upgrade, remember to take a back up of your data!
- The download should take no more than 30 minutes.
- If you are working in a multi-user environment make sure you upgrade all of the DriveWorks Modules e.g. DriveWorks Administrator, Autopilot, any DriveWorks User licenses, DriveWorks Live and DriveWorks Pro Server.
- Make sure you have your DriveWorks 23 license codes to hand. We issue new license codes for each new major release so you can get to know the new functionality and test it before you use it in production.
