3DEXPERIENCE World 2024: Innovation, Collaboration, and Inspiration

3DEXPERIENCE World 2024 in Dallas brought together thousands of attendees from around the world for three days of innovation, collaboration, and inspiration. From groundbreaking technology to insightful general session presentations, the event showcased the transformative power of technology in shaping the future of design and engineering.

This year 11 members of the DriveWorks team headed to Dallas to attend 3DEXPERIENCE World 2024.

As a silver sponsor of the event and a SOLIDWORKS Gold Partner, we were proud to be exhibiting, presenting, learning, and networking. We shared the benefits of our design automation and CPQ for Manufacturing technology with many visitors to our booth.

The three-day event was filled with inspiring keynote presentations, educational breakout sessions, and lots of catching up with our resellers, customers, partners, and the SOLIDWORKS community. It was great to make so many new connections too.

Day 1 kicked off with Gian Paolo Bassi, Senior Vice President of 3DEXPERIENCE Works, and Bernard Charles, Executive Chairman of Dassault Systèmes, setting the stage for the event. Bernard announced the appointment of Pascal Daloz as the new CEO of Dassault Systèmes, marking a new era of leadership for the company.

We also heard about the latest advancements in AI-driven design experiences and learned about partnerships aimed at enhancing electromechanical solutions for SOLIDWORKS users.

Day 2 focused on experience, with SOLIDWORKS CEO Manish Kumar highlighting the importance of delivering more than just products – SOLIDWORKS users have the opportunity to create lasting experiences with their innovations.

We learned about the power of data management and organization, as well as exciting new AI technology that will empower users to innovate even further. Customer success stories from Proteus Motion, Flowserve, B&S Technologies, Qargos, Tessy Plastics, Viscon, and Endiatx showcased the impressive work the designers and makers in our community are doing.

Day 3 concluded the event with a celebration of community and innovation. Speakers Ian Roy, Brent Bushnell, and Paddy Lowe shared their journeys and insights, inspiring us to use design and technology to positively impact our communities.

Updates on initiatives like Fab-In-a-Box and the announcement of SWUGN award winners highlighted the collaborative spirit of the SOLIDWORKS community. The event concluded with Gian Paulo Bassi inviting attendees to join 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025 in Houston, promising another year of innovation and inspiration.
