Companies from a range of industries use DriveWorks, enabling them to increase sales, streamline processes, and achieve their business goals. DriveWorks is modular, scalable, and incredibly versatile, so our customers use DriveWorks in many different ways, building their own design automation, product configurator, and CPQ solutions to suit the needs of their own business.
That’s why sharing customer stories is such an integral part of DriveWorks World. It enables you to see how other companies have adopted our technology across a range of different industries. We share customer stories to show how other DriveWorks users have built their implementation, the functionality they have used, the processes they have followed, how they maintain it, and their plans for the future. It’s the ideal way to pick up tips, tricks and inspiration for your own implementation.
Look back: Customer stories at DriveWorks World 2025
For DriveWorks World 2025 attendees, seeing how other companies use our technology was a great way to get new ideas for their own implementations. Here’s a selection of the DriveWorks customers who shared their story at last year’s event:
GH Cranes & Components
GH Cranes, based in Spain, is a leading global manufacturer of customized cranes and lifting systems with 10 production plants around the world.
They started using DriveWorks to meet increasing market demand and help them continue to expand globally. Additionally, they needed a solution to effectively manage complex configurations across an extensive product range.
Using DriveWorks design automation technology to set rules and parameters to automate repetitive “same but different” design tasks has reduced manual errors and sped up the design cycle. GH Cranes have achieved an overall reduction in design errors of 25%. Improved accuracy has reduced unnecessary delays and minimized expensive rework.
Monmouth Scientific
Monmouth Scientific, based in the UK, design and manufacture clean air solutions. Their product range includes fume cupboards, cleanrooms, and safety cabinets.
They needed a solution to improve their quoting and sales processes, to reduce uncertainty for customers buying complex products.
Over 50 members of the Monmouth Scientific team use DriveWorks. Their cleanroom configurator enables salespeople to specify customer requirements using inputs and interactive 3D visualizations. From this, DriveWorks generates a quote document from a template, ensuring consistency. The quote also includes images of the 3D model to improve customer confidence. SOLIDWORKS assemblies and drawings are automatically generated.
A list of stock items and a BOM are automatically added to their MRP system, and cut list documents are created. In 2024, DriveWorks generated over 50 cleanroom assemblies, made up of over 8,964 subassemblies.
Twin City Fan
Twin City Fan, based in Plymouth, Minnesota, is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of fans. Their products range from heavy-duty industrial process fans to commercial supply and exhaust fans.
Twin City Fan (TCF) needed a solution that could support both standardized and highly customized orders. DriveWorks enabled them to streamline production, cut down on manual tasks, and boost efficiency across their operations.
Using DriveWorks automation technology, TCF created a streamlined experience for both standard and custom orders. They developed a product selector tool that enables customers to input their specific requirements directly. Once the customer selects a product, the system logs the order details in a SQL database, and DriveWorks automatically generates all necessary drawings and emails the relevant information directly to the customer.
Customer stories at DriveWorks World 2026
This year at DriveWorks World 2026, we have another impressive lineup of customer stories. Manufacturers from different industries around the world will share their experiences of how DriveWorks technology has enabled them to streamline their workflows, achieve savings in design time, and manufacture custom products faster and with greater accuracy.
Customers joining us include VanAire, a US manufacturer of valve automation hardware, and The Bradley Collection, a UK manufacturer of custom curtain pole products. This year, we’re delighted that DriveWorks customer, Thorp Precast, will join us in person, live from the DriveWorks World studio at DriveWorks HQ. We’ll share more details of the other manufacturers joining us over the next few weeks.
The customer stories we share at DriveWorks Word 2026 will also be recorded and available to watch back in the event app. You’ll need to be registered for DriveWorks World to access the recordings.
There’s still time to register for this year’s event, starting on April 14th with an exclusive reseller preview, and continuing on April 15th and 16th for DriveWorks users and resellers. DriveWorks World 2026 will be hosted virtually, and registration is free for DriveWorks users with active subscription, resellers, and authorized partners to attend.
