What do I need to know before I take the certification?
If you’re an experienced DriveWorks Pro user, you may already have all the knowledge you need to take the certification.
If you’re a new DriveWorks Pro user or just getting started then we recommend that you start with the DriveWorks Pro Essentials Training through your DriveWorks Reseller.
DriveWorks Pro Training is a 3-day class offered by DriveWorks Resellers, using DriveWorks training materials. The training covers the core concepts: Rules, Automation, Form Design, Workflow, and Configuration, teaching how to automate and configure “same but different” designs. The training covers everything you need to know to pass the certification exam

What does the certification involve?
The DriveWorks Pro Essentials certification is a timed exam in the DriveWorks Learning Portal with questions on the following topics:
- About DriveWorks Pro
- Automating CAD (SOLIDWORKS)
- Specification Flow and Specification Macros
- Automating SOLIDWORKS Drawings
- Troubleshooting Tools
- Tabulated Data
- Automating Documents
You will be asked a combination of free text, multiple-choice, and drag-and-drop questions, and you will have 3 hours to complete the exam.
Learning resources to help you succeed with DriveWorks Pro
There’s a wide selection of learning resources to help you get the most out of DriveWorks Pro.
They include the DriveWorks learning portal, how-to videos, a complete online help file, DriveWorks Pro forum, technical tips, and webinars.
After passing the certification (you will need a score of 80% or above to pass), you will be given feedback to let you know which questions you answered incorrectly to help you improve your DriveWorks Pro knowledge further.
