This month the two SOLIDWORKS User Groups (SWUG) in the UK got together for their final meetings of the year. We went along to both of them, meeting fellow users, sponsoring the meetings and presenting too. The first meeting, UK SWUG NW, got together at DriveWorks HQ on December 3rd. Members of the DriveWorks team have taken part in Movember for the past few years. This year though there were more people taking part than ever before so they set themselves an ambitious target of raising £1500! After 30 days of growing the mo’s were looking pretty good, and so was their fundraising – this year, they have raised over £2,000! Day Three at DriveWorks World 2018 saw the technical training come to an end. There are now 21 new Certified DriveWorks Professionals (CDWPs). Day Two at DriveWorks World 2018 was the first day of technical training. Delegates were using DriveWorks 16 either to get certified and become a CDWP, or attending the advanced topic sessions to learn in more detail.
