What’s on the agenda?

Rhonda Jacobs, Application Engineer at CATI will be presenting on design intent for SOLIDWORKS models –

As engineers and designers, we often hear the term ‘design intent’ when discussing product development. We know that creating models with design intent in mind is an important, but often overlooked, step in the design process. In this presentation, we will be discussing ways to incorporate good design intent into parts and assemblies while creating documents that are easily modifiable and well suited for re-use, which in turn will make our jobs a little easier.”

Brian Reel, Senior Manager, Field Technial Services at CATI will present on Updated Hardware Performace Recommendations for SOLIDWORKS Products.

Selecting the right hardware for the SOLIDWORKS projects that come across your desk can increase your productivity and enhance the user experience even more. How much RAM can SOLIDWORKS use? Hard drive speeds/types? Video cards, how much is too much? Processor core speeds, yes please! Gain insight into our tech teams benchmarking and testing using top notch equipment and real world modeling practices.
