We’re sponsoring the next Northeast Ohio SOLIDWORKS User Group (NEOSWUG) meeting, which takes place on Thursday 26th October 2017!

When: Thursday 26th April 2017
Where: The event will be held at Beckett Gas Inc, 38000 Beckett Parkway, North ridgeville, OH 44039

“Every so often we like to put together a special themed meeting. It’s been 3 years since CarnivalWorks and it’s time again for something extra special. This year we are planning a Halloween themed meeting. Costumes are optional but then hey…it’s Halloween! This meeting will include a mini-partner pavilion, plant tours of Beckett Gas, a presentation, a model-mania competition facilitated by Mark Schneider from SOLIDWORKS and of course food and drink. We may even have an extra surprise or two.”

What’s on the Agenda?

5:30 to 5:55 – Welcome imtroductions, an outline of the event, food and comments from Mark Schneider.
5:45 to 8:30 – HallowSolids:

Model Mania – ran by Mark Schneider of SOLIDWORKS. You will be given 18 minutes to create a pre-defined model. Entried will then be graded by Mark.
Hallow Tours – Mike Lannon will give a 20 minute tour of the shop floor where attendees will see everything from the burner display to Beckett Gas’ work shop areas.
Presentation – Paul Hallowaty of Fisher Unitech will talk about Desktop Metal Printing. The presentation is 40 minutes long and will be repeated 3 times throughout the evening.
Mini Partner Pavilion – Meet Heather Hasz from the DriveWorks Team, Tim Glavin from Genius, Gretchen Santo from Beaumont High School’s Robotics Team and Jeff Trevarrow of CADWorks.

8:30 to 9:30 – Wrap up
