How I Built the HVAC Project Part 1

Every Thursday the DriveWorks Tech Team share their knowledge and expertise in these 30 minute value added webinars exclusively for DriveWorks Reseller AEs and DriveWorks Pro customers on subscription support.

On Thursday, October 27th, DriveWorks Senior Applications Engineer, Dave, will show you how he built the HVAC sample project.

How I Built the HVAC Project Part 1

Each month as part of our Industry Spotlight Demonstrations, our Technical Team create industry specific Design Automation / Configurator projects that showcase the types of companies that can benefit from DriveWorks software.

In order to demonstrate the uses of DriveWorks within the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry, our Senior Applications Engineer, Dave, created an Air Handling Unit project.

This two part webinar looks at how Dave created the SOLIDWORKS models and a DriveWorks project to automate these models. It also covers how long it took to set up the project and discusses some of the major DriveWorks features used and how they help to create a custom HVAC design.

In the first part, Dave will cover:
– Creating the SOLIDWORKS models with Design Automation in mind
– Capturing the Models and Custom Properties
– Creating Forms and controlling the data.
– Demonstrating how Calculation Tables are used to control the Project data

The ability to create projects is key to using DriveWorks software and as a DriveWorks user, at some point you will have had to set up your own projects based around your SOLIDWORKS models.

If you’re just starting with DriveWorks, this two part webinar is a great opportunity for you to see the options available to you when automating your products and pick up some tips and tricks from our Tech Team that can help you to reach your goal.

We welcome questions throughout and after the webinar.

The webinar will take place at 4pm GMT on Thursday, October 27th.
