Hierarchical Control Properties

Every Thursday the DriveWorks Tech Team share their knowledge and expertise in these 30 minute value added webinars exclusively for DriveWorks Reseller AEs and DriveWorks Pro customers on subscription support.

On Thursday, October 13th, DriveWorks Applications Engineer, Tom will be sharing his knowledge about Hierarchical Control Properties, including how to create effective forms within DriveWorks.

Hierarchical Control Properties are a new feature in DriveWorks 14 and they allow you to reference every property value of a control. Previously only certain control properties were available for reference in rules.

To show you what can be achieved, Tom will cover:
• Using Hierarchical Control Properties to create a responsive form, which can be used on the web.
• Tips on how other properties/controls could also be used.
• Using Hierarchical Control Properties within the same control to quickly make fonts and colours consistent.
• Speeding up your project by cutting down the amount of rules needed, by using Hierarchical Control Properties.

With Hierarchical Control Properties the possibilities are endless when referencing form control properties. They can also be easily implemented into an existing DriveWorks project to make future design changes quicker and easier.
