What’s on the Agenda?
Come on out on Tuesday March 27th to the Alvarium Beer Co. in New Britain, CT to help CONNSWUG celebrate their 9th anniversary!
They’ll kick things off at 4:30 for brew tours, followed by food from Michel Angelo’s Pizzeria. At 6 pm, they’ll start one of three presentations.
The first one will be from their gracious sponsor and longtime CONNSWUG supporter, Veloce Engineering. They will present on their in-house casting process and give attendees a sneak peek on some of the other cool things they make. Check them out at www.veloce-engineering.com
Their second presentation will be from Rob Jost, Product Definition Senior Manager from SOLIDWORKS. The topic is Smooth Sketching: Spline, Style Spline, and Conic, what’s the difference? He will demonstrate the differences between each of the splines offered in SOLIDWORKS. Learn the strengths and weaknesses of each curve and how they relate to continuity, as well as a few tips and tricks along the way.
Then Ed Gebo will give a SOLIDWORKS World 2018 in review presentation that you do not want to miss. Ed’s also working on a new data set of Tips and Tricks to start giving at other User Groups. Your participation and feedback will help him make it better, he needs all the input he can get!
Lastly, some surprise announcements will be made at this meeting so please mark this one on your calendar! You want to be here!!!
