We’re attending the next Boston Area North SOLIDWORKS User Group (BANSWUG) meeting which takes place on Tuesday 3rd April 2018!

When: Tuesday 3rd April 2018. 5:30pm to 9pm.
Where: The event will be held at ProSource, 333 Wyman Street, #225 Waltham, MA 02451.

What’s on the Agenda?

5:30pm to 6:00pm – Eat, mingle and network.

6:00pm to 6:30pm – Business and introductions.

6:30pm to 7:30pm – Craft Beer Geek Tips & Tricks – Ed Gebo, Owner of Digital Detail & Design.

Debuting in his new role as president of the New Hampshire SOLIDWORKS User Group, Ed Gebo will present about his two passions: SOLIDWORKS and craft beer. This selection of tips and tricks will be sure to leave you thirsty for more.

7:30pm to 7:45pm – Break and networking.

7:45pm to 8:45pm – Breakout Session: SOLIDWORKS 3DInterconnect. Working with Non-Native SOLIDWORKS Data by Utpal Kumar, Product Definition Engineer at SOLIDWORKS.

Working with non-native SOLIDWORKS content has been greatly improved in 2017 and 2018. This presentation will focus on capabilities and use cases of 3DInterconnect and how to apply them in real-world scenarios while working with non-native SOLIDWORKS content.

Attendees will learn the capabilities and workflows offered by 3DInterconnect and how to apply them in various design and collaboration scenarios to take maximum advantage of SOLIDWORKS capabilities on non-native SOLIDWORKS content.

Speaker Biography: Utpal Kumar, BE graduate from YCCE, Nagpur University India. With 14+ Years of CAD experience and working with Dassault Systemes SolidWorks Corporation from past 12 Years as Product Definition Engineer in the Product Definition department.

7:45pm to 8:45pm – Breakout Session: Generative Design by Hari Padmanabhan, Product Definition Engineer at SOLIDWORKS.

Attendees of this month’s breakout session will get the chance to test and provide feedback on new Generative Design tools currently in development by SOLIDWORKS.

8:45pm to 9pm – Q&A, wrap up and prize drawing.
