Automate Office with DriveWorks

Every Thursday the DriveWorks Tech Team share their knowledge and expertise in these 30 minute value added webinars exclusively for DriveWorks Reseller AEs and DriveWorks Pro customers on subscription support.

On Thursday, April 7th, DriveWorks Applications Engineer, John will be taking a look at Automating Office documents within DriveWorks, specifically Word documents and Excel workbooks.

Word and Excel are commonly used to create documents such as Quotes, BOMS and Covering Letters that can be tailored to represent company branding. However manually creating these document can be time consuming.

In order to show you how to Automate Office with DriveWorks, John will cover:
• How to set up Word/Excel documents
• How to build rules to automate your documents
• Using Variables to ease document creation, similar to how we automate XML documents
• Writing Name and Path Rules, as well as other document options
• Using a live project to demonstrate how final documents are generated using DriveWorks Pro Autopilot
• Demonstrating how to attach documents to an email
• Specification Flow and the various options for releasing the documents

Creating attractive documents is an important part of providing an enjoyable experience for your customers and DriveWorks Pro can help you to do this quickly and efficiently.
