DriveWorks Advent Calendar – Day 8
Who’s Behind the Door Today?
We’re celebrating the festive season with our very own DriveWorks Advent Calendar. Each day, behind the doors will be a different member of the DriveWorks team and a little bit about the way they spend the holidays.
We all have so many reasons to celebrate the year 2016 at DriveWorks. We’ve had excitement in our personal lives with some of us graduating from University, getting married and purchasing new homes, and also lots of excitement as a company, reaching milestones together as a team.
We hope you have had a great year too and that 2017 will be even better.
Don’t forget to pop back each day to see who is behind the doors on our Advent Calendar, we hope you enjoy getting to know us!
Happy Holidays from everyone at DriveWorks!

My favourite part about Christmas is getting to spend time with my family (and the food of course!). We have a tradition of having a bunch of relatives around on Christmas eve so we can countdown to Christmas together. This year my nephew is old enough to get excited about Christmas presents so I’m really looking forward to him opening them on Christmas day!
2016 has been a very exciting year! The highlight has to be when Matt and I bought our first house in June. It was extra exciting putting the Christmas tree up this year in our new home. I’m looking forward to decorating and making it our own in the new year.
My favourite thing about Christmas is… everything!
The dark cosy nights with Christmas lights to brighten up the darkness. The food, the drinks, the music, presents, seeing family and friends, and everyone being in such a good mood!
This year I’ll spend Christmas in America for the first time! I am beyond excited, it will be the best Christmas ever! Can’t wait to experience the holidays in classic American style with a lot of new, and a lot of familiar faces. 😀
It truly is the most wonderful time of the year, with those holiday greetings and… happy meetings when friends (and family) come to call!
2016 is the year I met Katie, which has brought on an immeasurable amount of experiences, laughs, opportunities and a lot more time in America!
With the year coming to an end I can only hope 2017 will be at least half as good!
My favourite thing about this season is that it transforms everything!
Decorations go up, people dress differently, music changes, specials come on TV, food changes and everyone gets together 🙂
In 2016 I started my round of 30th birthday parties with my friends. We all go on each birthday person’s perfect short weekend away.
The first one was a camping trip to the peaks. Mine is tomorrow for an adventure weekend in Wales!
