What has your company done with DriveWorks since becoming an Authorised Partner?

We became an Authorised Partner in December 2016 and first we are focusing on our existing client base with presentations, case studies and live demonstrations of their products if possible. During 2017 – 2018, we are looking to update our website with case studies and other relevant materials.

What are you most looking forward to about DriveWorks World 2017?

We’re looking forward to learning about the enhanced features that will be included in the release of DriveWorks 15.

What do you want to share with other DriveWorks World delegates in The Exchange?

We want to share the experiences of our clients and the benefits they’ve seen since working with us, which include the vast utilisation for the client from sales to delivery.

What are you looking forward to learning about at this year’s event?

I am looking to learn about some of the advanced DriveWorks features and different practices used by DriveWorks that we can adopt.

This is a unique trait in a conference.

What are you most looking forward to about DriveWorks World 2017?

Collaborating!

This is the first year I’ve been able to bring a few of our clients. It will bring me nothing but joy to watch them grow and learn as they enhance their DriveWorks skills.

What would you say to someone thinking of attending DriveWorks World 2017?

I would tell them to go! Other conferences might spend a few hours in the software and the rest doing presentations but at DriveWorks World, you will spend 3 straight solid days working in the software.

Clear Vision Cooling is the newest entity within the Bouwman Group, based in Harderwijk, the Netherlands. For over 35 years the Bouwman Group has been a successful business, supplying refrigeration and freezer cabinets for supermarkets and other retail spots.

They’ve recently purchased DriveWorks, so we caught up with their Commercial Director, Jurnjan van den Bremer, to find out why they chose DriveWorks as their Design Automation Solution.

Why DriveWorks?

“At Clear Vision Cooling, we’ve set up a 21st century robotized factory where all products, processes and equipment are engineered with SOLIDWORKS.

We decided to use DriveWorks as our key tool to help with engineering efficiency in all of the different configurations that will be needed, such as: different refrigeration and freezer cabinets, implying different adjustment profiles and implying different door dimensions and door types.

We will also use DriveWorks as a key automation tool for everything from establishing sales requirements to supply chain execution”.
