DriveWorksXpress is now included in every seat of SolidWorks 2008
DriveWorksXpress is recognized as THE easy to use, rules-based Design Automation tool for SolidWorks Engineers, allowing users to create multiple variations of parts, assemblies and drawings quickly and accurately.
The latest version of DriveWorksXpress has been included in SolidWorks for 2008.
DriveWorksXpress allows Design Engineers to capture dimensions and features so they can be controlled and driven; the next step is to build rules to determine what new variations should be generated, based on values entered into a simple form.
Once a project has been set up new values can be entered over and over again for specifying and creating new models and drawings quickly and easily.

SolidWorks 2008 lets users concentrate on solving design challenges, and leverages existing designs to save time and ensure accuracy. Specifically the goals are to:
• Focus on Design, not CAD
• Reuse existing designs to save time
• Improve design.
The inclusion of DriveWorksXpress within SolidWorks 2008 gives users unique new ways to design better products faster by re-purposing portions of existing designs while enforcing best practices.
